Official usage, maintenance, cleaning, filter category and compliance information for OKKIA eyewear.
Compliance
This eyewear complies with:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/425
- Harmonized standard EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015
Usage
These sunglasses protect against ocular lesions due to exposure to sunlight (these ocular lesions are different from injuries caused by direct observation of the sun).
Maintenance
This eyewear should not be exposed to temperatures lower than -10°C or higher than +35°C and should be kept in its protective storage case.
Do not leave the product under direct sunlight in closed, non-conditioned environments (for example a car dashboard), as extremely high temperatures may damage the eyewear.
When not in use and during transport, store the sunglasses in the protective transparent envelope.
Cleaning
Use a damp cloth and a normal mild cleaning agent and dry with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use solvents.
Warnings and Restrictions
- Not suitable for direct observation of the sun or solar eclipses.
- Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night.
- Does not protect against artificial light sources (e.g. solaria).
- Does not protect against mechanical impacts.
Mechanical impacts may cause the eyewear itself to break, potentially causing injury to the face or eyes.
Filter Category and Model Information
The model identification code and filter category are marked on the inner side of the temple.
If the word “Polarized” is present, the lenses are polarizing.

| 80%–100% | 0 | Light-tint sunglasses | Very limited reduction of sunglare. |
Expiry / Repairs
Repair in case of breakage.
No official spare parts are included.
